Noah maakte geen grapje. Al snel plaatste hij een advocatenbrief op de homepage van het bedrijf, waarin hij dreigde met juridische stappen tegen Eleanor, excuses eiste en compensatie eiste voor de financiële verliezen van het bedrijf.

Niet alleen werd de brief op de website van MN Inc. geplaatst, maar ook op platforms zoals Twitter en Reddit stond dezelfde verklaring. MN Inc. leek dit serieus te nemen.

Omdat MN Inc. zo'n vastberaden standpunt innam, terwijl Rebirth volstrekt stil bleef, werd de publieke opinie al snel eenzijdig.
