Amanda warf den Kindern einen Blick zu. Sie verstanden sofort ihre Absicht und warfen verstohlene Blicke auf das Essen, das Miles zubereitet hatte.

„ Alles gut. Ich finde, ihr habt das alle ganz gut gemacht. Es gibt eine ausgewogene Mischung aus Gemüse und Fleisch, besonders der Hühnersalat. Ich habe schon seit Tagen Lust auf etwas Knackiges und Erfrischendes!“

Dann nahm Amanda ihre Gabel, um den Hühnersalat zu probieren. Sie runzelte die Augenbrauen, als sie sah, wie säuerlich er war. Miles bemerkte ihre Reaktion und probierte selbst den Hühnersalat. Er runzelte sofort die Stirn und sagte: „Ich habe zu viel Essig genommen.“
